The doors through-out are heavy quality modern self closing doors with quality stainless door furniture. Also leading from the hallway are the bedroom, lounge, bathroom and kitchen/dining area.
Inside the bedroom, you will find cream carpet, large double wardrobe with pull out trouser rack, and a further two full size wardrobes – plenty of space for hanging clothes. There is also a large four draw ‘Tall Boy’ with lighted make-up mirror, and at each side of the bed there are matching bedside cabinets and bedside lights.
The bed itself is dressed in crisp clean sheets and linen – just what you deserve at the end of a long day’s site-seeing and entertainment.

Moving into the lounge, the same beech wooden floor runs through from the hall leading you into a large open plan lounge with a beautiful view of the gardens from the Juliet Balcony. Each side of the room has a large three seater leather sofa with enough seating for 3 adults on each one, and the ceiling is fitted with recessed spot lighting. If you prefer a more atmospheric feel, the lighting has many settings and even a dimmer to get the lighting exactly right to suit your moods!
In the living room, there is ample storage and a marble inlaid modern sideboard to store shopping or items you would like to keep to hand. In this sideboard you will find designer John Rocha crockery if you wish to set the table for dinner. For your entertainment, the lounge has a DVD, TV, Hi-Fi and Internet available.
The modern kitchen is neat and perfect for a you needs on a break. All the appliances are integrated with a dishwasher, washer, dryer, fridge freezer, cooker, hob, microwave and electric waste disposal at your finger tips. Here you will also find all the extras and items you will need to prepare a meal, chill champagne, open wine or store food.
The dining area is situated at the back of the open plan lounge and can seat four people comfortably.
If you feel the need to add some heat, each room in the apartment has a separate wall heater that can be individually controlled to your requirement. As this is a modern flat, there is generally no need for heating unless it’s an exceptionally cold day.

This luxury apartment is fully owner managed and maintained to the highest standards. The accommodation sleeps four people comfortably in one large double bedroom and one sofa-bed – however, we do advise that the sofa bed is more suited to children/teenagers than adults.
Walk out of the complex gates and you are on the river banks of the Ouse with a view of the famous King Arms pub just a few metres away on the opposite bank. Within a few minutes you are in the City centre shopping and entertainment area with its famous narrow cobbled streets, boutique shops, restaurants to suit all tastes and a vibrant vibe at nightfall. You won’t have far to walk (or wobble) after a day’s shopping or a nights indulgence to return to the apartment! No need for taxis when staying at this apartment and the car can take a break for the duration of your stay as all of central York’s historic buildings and many attractions are within 10 minutes walk.
Take a 2 minute stroll in the opposite direction (behind the complex) and you enter the Bishophill area of the City nestled under the historic City walls – with fantastic friendly historic real ale pubs and quaint traditional houses.
For those of you who like to exercise, a gym is located a few doors down from the apartment (guest members welcome and includes a small pool) and a cycle path/walk leads along the river bank passing the beautiful Rowntree Park and onto the Millennium bridge, crossing over the river and bringing you back along the opposite bank with the Kings Arms pub situated conveniently at the end!
If food is your thing, a night in, or a night out couldn’t be more convenient, at the end of the street a fabulous Indian take-away (or eat in) is available and there are a multitude of other choices within the vicinity, as well as a shop to buy wine, ingredients or treats. If you prefer to dine out, less than two minutes walk will allow you a choice from restaurants such as Picalinos, The Living Rooms, Red Chilli Chinese, Akbars and Thida Thai. A few minutes more and your choice widens to encompass every style, cuisine and budget.
